Using cameras attached to road sweepers, our data teams at EBI Solutions and AI experts at EBI.AI have constructed a system allowing the manufacturer to use computer vision and AI to cut the cost of power and water used for cleaning streets in the UK.
Cameras placed on the vehicle see dirt and obstacles on the road surface and we use AI to calculate the brush speed needed to remove it, the amount of water needed to clean it, or power needed to pick up the rubbish. This intelligent cleaning system significantly reduces fuel and water wastage while detecting elements potentially missed by the human eye.
